...how is it that Dash can fall sound asleep, totally dead to the world, while I'm holding him next to my laptop with Lady Gaga blaring on the speakers (don't judge, the babies like 'Eh, Eh' ) and yet if I put him down in his bouncer he will be able to suddenly wake up to a feather falling on a satin pillow two blocks down the road? *sigh*

(Heh, I kinda sound like I'm complaining, but really I don't mind when they won't sleep unless I hold them - I know they won't want to be cuddled like this forever!)

i have no idea.... miss A can fall asleep in a room full of loud people (she did it around New Years) and sometimes just the floor squeaky when i walk into the nursery will wake her.  who knows what the rhyme or reason is

and, i should add that the other day i was holding her and snuggling and she pushed me away for a second and i was so sad to think that it won't be long before she doesn't want to be held all the time   granted, she was fussy and just moody and generally loves being held..but it was just a reminder to me that they grow up too fast!
