RSVP vent (Not TTCALR)

What the fvck happened to the art of the RSVP?  I am hosting a wedding shower for my future sister-in-law (DH's identical twin's fiance) this Saturday and only 10 out of 36 people have bothered to respond.  How difficult is it really?  I gave the guests two options--our home phone or my email.  A couple who know me have used Facebook and that's totally fine.  I'll take a note strapped to a pidgeon's leg, smoke signals, telepathic messages, or some other clever or boring method of communication.

I don't think these people realize the emotions of someone cranky with progesterone side effects.  The guest of honor is a super sweet girl, who is so grateful that I'm doing this, but if her friends and family don't start communicating I'm going to greet them at the door by pelting them with meatballs.

Ugh.  I'm sorry, I so hate it when people don't RSVP.  I mean seriously, how hard is it?  My own family is even awful about it.

That is definitely annoying.  I guess they will learn their lesson when you only have food and seating for 10 people.

I had less than 10 RSVP for my wedding and over 50 showed up!  It was soooo frustrating!

I love rsvps these days.  People that rsvp yes don't show and people that don't rsvp show up.  Who knows??  I understand your frustration.

I hate when people don't rsvp. It's not that hard to call or send an email.
