Finding a sitter

Does anyone know of good, reliable sources for finding a babysitter? We only need childcare for a few hours a week so we're thinking of going the sitter route. I have no idea of where to begin....

    We found our current sitter on sittercitty.com.  She has been awesome and the whole experience on sittercity was great!!
