I am about to order something to use for his food (which I plan to make) and just wondering if it matters or is one bowl just as practical as the next? Thanks
I just use tiny little ceramic ramekins. I am sort of anti-plastic. These are super cute, and I can warm up her food in a bit of simmering water on the stove....no microwave :-)
I use the ceramic ramekins too. Although with DD, once she was old enough to want to feed herself we switched to a small plastic bowl (for obvious reasons .
we have fiestaware so we are using the fruit bowls. easy to mash stuff up in heat up or whatever needs to be done. I just won't let LO feed himself out of them. for that I just put the food down on his highchair and let him do it

I am using teacups... sounds weird, but I have 12 damn teacups that came with my dinner plate settings and they are the perfect size, with the little handle making them easy for me to hold.
In my bag: Canon 60D, 50mm 1.4, Tamron 28-75 2.8, 430exii
I use these bowls. I bought plastic because DS gets very excited when he sees the food and has knocked the bowl out of my hand before. He'll use them when he starts to feed himself too. I also bought lidded bowls, so I can feed him when I'm not at home and don't have to worry about a mess in the diaper bag.

Re: If not a jar, what do you feed baby out of? A certain bowl?
