Ate desitin- threw up friday night and last night:(

Do you think these things are related.  DS only had a stomach bug one other time but that time he also got sick through the night one night was fine the next day and night and then vomited through the night the next.  

Friday DS thew up.  I thought I saw something creamy in there so I asked him if he ate cream.  He said he did and that he ate it in his bed.  Well I went through his entire bedding and looked all over the room and didn't find a tube of anything.  Called pedi and they said it could cause vomiting or diarrhea, not really an emergency if he did.  Well the next day I was cleaning out his room and found a tube in his toy bin that I could tell he sucked some out of, so he did in fact eat some desitin.  Now last night- 48 hours after the first incident he threw up again a couple times.

Do you think he has a bug or its still from the cream?

I would call poison control just to see what they say.  They can check all ingredients.  It could just be it is upsetting his stomach.  I know it used to be made from cod liver oil but I don't know if that is the case anymore (the new creamy kind).

Poison control said a reaction would only be within a few hours and it would be GI upset. I guess we have a little bug.
