Kidco Peapod Plus! This is awesome!

I just wanted to share a product with you all that I purchased for my son for a weekend trip we just took.  It's the Kidco Peapod Plus, and it worked great!  They make smaller versions of this, but since my son is already very long for his age, I bought the bigger of the two.  The one I got has a self inflating air mattress that helps save time.  It also is light weight, which is great for flights when you don't want to bring the pack n play.  We got the camoflauge one because I could see my son when he's 2 or 3 years old playing in the yard with it!  Check it out everyone!

Thank you for posting this.  I've been considering buying one for a trip to New York next month.  Now I know it's worth the money!

Do you think it would fit insdie a 4-person tent? We are currently looking for something for our DD to sleep in while we camp.

  • We are going on vacation soon and I was planning on taking DD's pack n play for her to sleep in.  Do you think this is a better alternative?

  • Hey Everyone!  Sorry I'm so behind in answering your questions.

If you're going somewhere warm, the tent might be a little stuffy....even with the major flap up, there isn't a lot of cross air circulation.  I would have a fan handy or you can take out the air mattress and let them sleep directly on that without the tent (that's what I did while we were in ATL...it was pretty warm).  If you're staying somewhere with Air Conditioning, I'd say go for it!

For camping, it can definitely fit inside a 4 person tent, but if DD isn't crawling around just yet (just rolling over), you can probably just have her sleep on the air mattress next to you if it's warm.  You'll be in your sleeping bags likely, so you'll be seperated from her.  If it gets cold at night where you're camping, you can definitely put up the tent in a 4 man tent.

One thing, breaking the tent down is a little tricky.  If you do have trouble, message me, I might be able to talk you through it!
