Friends of ours that we spent the weekend with have an 8 month old. The baby was sunburnt when we got there on Friday. They said they don't use sunblock/screen because they want the baby to build up a base tan and because it cause cancer. They are both law school graduates, very educated people.
They must have took a hint by our shock at that comment because the baby was wearing sunscreen the rest of the weekend.
I had been wondering why their baby was so tan for a infant.
