Well, I sent the email and added the "let's talk about why it is so hard to live together..." part. And she chose to ignore that. I don't really know what to do. No email response and no talk and no asking when we were going to have sushi.
So no, we never talked about it. But things seem to be going well. She came home the day of the email. She asked how my day was and what I did. She reminded me she had company coming in late that night. She went into her room, cleaned it, and took a shower. She came out, asked what I was making for dinner and dropped off her dirty dishes from her room. And went back in. So nothing has changed. But then she came out and asked if I was going to hang out with her and her friend the next day. And then the weirdness went away, no more drama.
She had to put her cat down on Friday. That was really sad. I was afraid that it would be awkward. But it was just really sad.
