How ironic, I talked to the nurse advice line this morning about constipation. My baby is only 2-weeks, but she said 1-tsp in a 2-oz bottle of formula twice a day, no longer than 14-days in a row.

Hey, Melissa! My Pedi, of course, said something totaly different! My Grandma kept telling me to do it for Dylan, so I asked the doc and he said that it's not proven to work. He said the "old" Karo syrup had some ingredient that did help wth constipation, but that was the way it was made years ago and that ingredient isn't even in there any more. So, who knows?
I hope Juliana feels better soon!

Hey! She only goes when I use a qtip on her. I don't know why??? One good thing is that I can make sure she only goes at home lol.
Re: Karo syrup for constipation?
hmmm...I know she definitely didn't say water. This is why I am always so confused. I feel like every pedi says something different.
