Hey there mama! Doing good today. DH stayed with me again last night (and brought a movie.. yay!) and then when he left this afternoon my Mom came over and took me to lunch in the cafeteria. Pretty sad when a crappy salad bar salad is exciting!
Apparently I am having some contractions but I only feel them every once in a while and no one seems too worried about it. And both boys are looking great on the monitors.
How are you doing? When you're not on bedrest are you one of the dr's who peek in on people at the crack of dawn everyday? I am starting to love my collection of residents, but God love them they always look so tired. I see them at night... they're here in the am... just wondering when they sleep.

After being on bedrest for 10 weeks due to TTTS and hospital bedrest for 4 weeks due to PPROM, my sticky babies are here! Born at 32 weeks!!
Yup that's the life of a resident. We're in the hospital until 6 PM and back by 5 AM. Patients (especially post op gynecology patients) always say the same thing....."You're back already?!". Our antepartum patients just get used to it. You don't sleep much over the 4 years. In fact, I am kind of scared at getting 8-9 hours a night now....my poor body will have readjust just like intern year all over again (not to mention 2 babies to care for as well). I might seriously have to hire a night time nanny.
We're good over here. Just gestating. I have a doctor's appt tomorrow, so I am excited about getting out of the house for a bit. I got my eyebrows waxed today, and I am a new woman!
Tell those contractions to go away. Glad the boys look good. I will check in on you tomorrow. We're making it....one day at a time sister....we are baking these babies!!
You probably will go into shock!! Glad you're going to get out and about for a little bit tomorrow. Good luck!! Maybe you can swing a trip somewhere tasty for lunch.
And I am totally jealous about the freshly waxed brows... I got a pedi a few days before getting admitted, but was totally overdue to brows and a haircut. Now I'm just going to have to tweeze myself into a reasonable human.
One day at a time is hard to take sometimes, but we'll be holding our big healthy babies in no time!! (Begging for a tenth of the sleep we're getting now!)
