difference between soy and sensitive formulas?

so at the hospital they had LO on Enfamil Premium Lipil and he did horrible and hated it so as soon as we got home I put him on Similac Isomil Advance which is a soy formula...and he does much better with the spiting up and the vomiting but it still seems like he is gassy all the time...I have seen many of you talk about Similac Sensitive, wondering if I should try that? Is there any reason LO should stay on soy rather then normal? I dont want to upset his belly though by switching again.......

Re: difference between soy and sensitive formulas?

  • I don't really know the difference (other than milk-based and non milk-based) but we switched to Similac Sensitive and it's been great. We do mix it with breast milk because I'm supplementing though. But she has been MUCH less gassy than when she was on regular Similac. It took about 3-4 days to notice a difference. GL!
