Colbie Cheese? J/k . . . I've never heard this used as a girl's name. What about Colbie Elaine? Grace? Faith? Anne? Marie? Jane? I guess those are all pretty basic, but they all work.
Changing the spelling of a name does not make a name more or less feminine. A name is a name that is said out loud the exact same way as if you spell it with 4 Es of a Y. If you gravitate towards a masculine name, own it and spell it correctly.
That said, the only Colby I know is a girl, so I do not picture it as a boys name. Also, I find the majority of names ending with the Y sound more feminine (unless it is a little boys nickname).
Anyway - her middle name is Elizabeth, which I love as a mn.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Colby Adelaide. Colbie Margaret. Colbie Juliet. Colbie Annalise. Colbie Jane. Colbie Paige. Colbie Savannah. Colbie Caroline (depending on your last name, I actually like the alliteration here...).

I can't help but think of the cheese though when I hear Colbie/Colby. Although I am a fan of the singer Colbie Calliat.
All I think of is cheese and chubby little blond boys when I hear Colby and I don't think changing the spelling will help any. Good luck, the other ladies made some good suggestions, at least.

My boobies belong to cour10e
Mhmmmm.
I agree with you, in that I think it needs a very feminine mn.
I disagree with you, in that I think it should be spelled Colbie for a girl.
I agree with this entirely.
What about Colbie Josephine
or Colbie Elyse?
It's not my favorite name, but I have seen a lot worse

If we were having a girl, we were going to name her Colbie Grace
Colbie is one of my favorite names! It would be our babies name if our last night didn't rhyme!
I like:
Colbie Elizabeth
Colbie Anastasia
I personally love the spelling and it's on our list exactly. We like Colbie Renee
**Colbie Caillat is a female pop'ish singer.
I definitely disagree about spelling it "Colby". I do think adding the ie makes it more feminine and I immediately think of Colbie Caillat.
NMS exactly but I can see the charm.
Maybe Colbie Grace? Colbie Elizabeth? Colbie Renee?
Yup. This.

I think Grace is a great mn.
