Our GD renters backed out and we move in 6 weeks

And I am freaking pissed off.  Apparently, the wife decided at the last minute that she didn't want to leave her home and join her husband who has bought a business in our town so she went in a day after giving her two weeks notice at work and asked for her job back and then called her husband who is living here and said she and the kids would not be joining him and that if he didn't come back she wanted a divorce.  I feel for the guy because when he called you could tell this had rocked his world but we are now screwed.  We have to have renters because we can't sell in this crappy FL market and we have to move thanks to the Air Force and they offer no aide to those who cannot sell their homes. I need some major thoughts and prayers for renters and hey if you want to move to Panama City, FL let me know.  I've got an awesome house for rent.

We rent our houses on Craigslist.  We run credit checks on the internet through a service.  It works pretty well, if you have it priced right for your market.  I would not rent to anyone without running a credit check.  You can also get leases online for your state.
