    Tiff, this story made me happy! I am not planning on going all natural, but still-you handled everything so well, and it all sounds like it went fairly smoothly. I can't believe you were that dilated already when you got to the clinic! That is amazing. You rock :)

    aww, thx! i did a lot of preparation to be in the right mental state for the natural birth that i wanted. so i'm glad that it paid off. i think the reason why i was so far dilated was because i kept chanting "open open" to myself during contrx. now had i only used a similar chant to push, i would have been golden - lol. Big Smile

    I agree with the other posters, your story is amazing.  So glad that all your mental prep and hard work paid off and you got the birth you wanted.  It sounds like such wonderful experience.
