how much does a sperm extraction cost?

Just wondering if anyone knows anything about tese? and how much does it cost?

My DH had to have the biopsy to get sperm.  Our cost, including facility charge etc., was $2500.

Our urologist lists the cost of TESE as $1600 on their website, but we were quoted $5500 by his staff when they called to set it up.  Now there's confusion as to whether we need TESE or TESA and what the cost is for either.  I'm absolutely certain the RE spoke of "TESE" and I'm almost certain the urologist said "TESE", but apparently it says "TESA" in the chart. Argh!
