Brusing around belly button during pregnancy..is that normal??

So, I was at the mall this aftnoon cause it is WAYYY to HOtt today (100 degrees in South Fla to day!! ) to do anything else so DH and I went shopping. Anyway I was in Pea and a Pod trying on new bras and  a few pairs of shorts noticed in the mirror that my belly button was sort  of black and blue. It is still an inny but the skin around my belly button it seems thin..THis is normal right??

I feel totally fine otherwise I have an OB apt on Monday. I  am off to check Dr. Google!!

Mine was discolored,  but I wouldn't call it bruising...and the thinning is normal. 

My belly button looked crazy when I was pregnant...my husband loved to look at it cause it was so weird looking, lol.

it's probably not bruising - but just darkening skin - lots of changes in belly color - lines, blobs of color, etc  = all normal.

i had a strange purple mark right at my belly button, too - it's faded now.

Something similar happened to me as well.  It became discolored and the last couple weeks, that area felt bruised.  Not sure if it actually was or just the stretching of the skin.  FWIW, my belly button remained discolored until almost 6 months pp!

mine was a little bruised, too, and i had some pretty bad belly button pain off & on throughout my pregnancy!!

Mine doesn't have bruising, but it does have some odd thinning looking skin around it, where it's getting turned out. It's still an innie... I actually don't think I have enough belly button left for it to pop (mine was pretty much mangled when I had my gall bladder out.)

Mine feels brusied right now, and the skin is thin, but I am not sure it looks bruised.

Mine looks bruised and has for a while. I'm just glad it's stayed in so far although it's completely flat and I can feel the very inside "ball". Weird.
