Sounds very nice. I've never been to Maine but would love to go sometime.
I get up early and sit out on our deck. We are in MI and our 1 1/2 acres backs up to a state park. It is quite often (at least a couple of times a week) we have deer either in the front or the backyard. Unfortunately, that is why we don't have much of a garden...we learned the hard way. We have to put a fence around everything we plant (especially the apple and cherry trees!).

I have never been to Maine, but I'd love to visit sometime. Sounds beautiful.
I LOVE getting up before the kids and enjoying the quiet/outdoors/a little me time. Enjoy!
Ditto ALL of this.
I didn't know you were from Maine. We have a summer place in Naples.
That sounds like a great way to start the day in my book. We had the thunder storms but it was a rough night around here with both my kids up.

SOunds heavenly ....
Very similar to why we accepted DH's promotion to OKC and moved from Las Vegas. Is OKC perfect, noooo, but I am so much happier raising my child here.
