I did not have a C/S due to the baby being breech. I had an emergency C/S at Crozer with David. It was due to problems with his heart rate during my induction. The team was awesome. My practice is Suburban and if I remember correctly Dr. Hewlitt did the surgery. B/C I already had an epidural at that point, as soon as the anesthesiologist inserted more medication, they brought me right back. I had DS within 20 minutes. The worst part was when they "sewed me back up"- using dissolvable stitches. I was up and moving the same day. Recovery was very smooth and I plan on having future child(ren) at Crozer. Friends of our actually went through Crozer because of my great experience.
I had two c/sections at Crozer both with Dr. Zamostein. One was emergency and the 2nd wasn't scheduled but baby came earlier than my scheduled c/s date. I really had a good experience both times. No complaints, the surgeries went well with no complications, time spent in recovery was fine, and the nursing staff in post delivery was great. The only reason I am not delivering there again is due to change in insurance and moving last year we had to change everything to main line health.
Had a c-section this year with Dr. Sincavage. It was aweseome. The recovery was not bad at all. I was up and walking around the very next day. The staff was really nice.
