I have a lot of online friends I met through various fandoms on livejournal.  It was so weird to hear my screen name said out loud.

Ummm, it was easier to remember Thusa, Bubbs and Manadlin by the SN's rather than their IRL names.  But that was before everyone was on my FB.  Paddy's is easier by IRL name because she rarely post here.  I'll probably call Jessis just that, which will drive her bonkers, because she hates Jessie.

If I'm talking about a BOTBer IRL with another BOTBer, I'll refer to her by her sn. But the actual person I am talking to, not about, I call by name.

One time someone called me jCam to my face and it took me at least 5 seconds to realize she was talking to me. I prefer real names when face to face.

that happens to me all the time too.  And yesterday I told my sister something was a PITA and she looked at me like I was nuts.

i have a list of all the BOTB and MM real names/SN that are on my FB. ive been to 1 g2g so far and a few girls kept calling me Gia-i got a kick out of it!

Aw!  How did you meet?

We met on Myspace.  He was searching for locals in his ZIP code, and my profile came up even though I was 2200 miles away.  We figure it was fate.
