When DH had his SA done in January, his sperm count was really low (14 million) and his viscosity (thickness of semen) was slightly elevated too. RE talked about both but thought the low count was to blame. Well at out last IUI in April, his count was super high and this time too (80 million) but both times it took a long time for his semen to liquidfy during the sperm wash. This time is was really long. So since all my tests are normal and his sperm count has gotten A LOT higher, she believes this is what is causing us not to get pregnant. His semen is so thick, it can't liquidfy and the sperm are stuck and never get released. Luckily, IUIs are perfect for this problem since they liquidfy the sperm for you. Also, he can take Mucinex the week we are fertile to help thin it out. FINALLY we found the problem and solution. I am so hopeful now! Another IUI tomorrow! This is gonna work, I feel it!!!! Thanks for all your support ladies.
