Review: Oak Hills Splash Pad pip

3356 Quebec Avenue South, St Louis Park, MN 55416

We checked out Oak Hills Splash Pad in St. Louis Park  yesterday & all I can say is WOW what a great little spot I know we will be spending a lot of time there in the years to come. We want at 2pm so it was not crazy busy (I am sure once school gets out it will be backed all the time. I really liked how it is a fence around the whole thing so no little once could escape (note the last photo). Things to know: make sure to wear water shoes & something that can get wet as you will end up getting wet. I would also make sure your child is wearing water shoes. They also have 2 playgrounds in the park so once they are tired of the water (like that happens) you can go play there

  • Looks fun.  There is a splash park in Princeton that I'm going to try out this summer.

  • Are water shoes a requirement? I don't have any and don't really want to buy but would love to try it out.

they are not a requirement, dose she have any sandals that can get wet?

  • We used to live within walking distance.  It is awesome.  It is busy on weekends, etc. but not usually out of control.  I also like that one of the playground areas has a lot of equipment for smaller kids.

  • I agree that I love the park.  Elliot was too little for the splash pad last year.  But the park is lovely.  And there are lots of walking paths, if you're into that.

  • The little park looked so cool, I liked how it was farther away from the water area.

I saw the walking paths I would love to try them out some time, anyone know how long they are?

  • The walking paths aren't that long.  You can do a loop from the soccer fields (by the big parking lot on Walker/West 36th) up the hill to the splash park and back around it is maybe 1/2 mile or so.
