Gripe water dosage

Ok, so I went to Walgreens and bought the Baby Bliss.  The dosage on the package says 5 ml and the dropper has a .5 ml and a 1 ml mark.  Am I supposed to give DD five dropperfuls or did the package mean .5 ml per dose?  5 ml just seems like a lot and I wanted to make sure before giving it to her.  Thanks for your help!

Re: Gripe water dosage

  • According to my package of Baby Bliss Gripe Water it is 1 teaspoon which is 5ml for a baby 1-6 months.  Thats how much I give my LO, 1 teaspoon, I just put it into his night bottle if I can tell crankiness is coming on. Seems to help.

  • Mine says 1 teaspoon which is 5 ml too, but I BF so I really need to feed her with the dropper, I don't think she is going to take it from a spoon.  So, would I give her 5 dropperfuls?
  • Dropper sounds confusing? Could you measure a teaspoon and put it in a little cup or shot glass and then use the dropper to administer it.
