XP: HSV OB/GYN recs

Hey ladies! Man, I'm gone for a while and now all of you have babies!! I posted this on the nest AL board because the bump was blocking me the other day. Anyway, I'm looking for a new ob/gyn. I like mine, but I don't love her and I would like to find another one before TTC later this year. Any rec?

I use Dr Raiford at Tennessee Valley OB/GYN. She is awesome!

 

Their web-site is tvobgyn.com  I love it there. They are friendly and ALWAYS on time.

I use Dr. Raiford at TN Valley OB/GYN in the Women's Pavilion at Huntsville Hospital. She's very nice and personable and has really made me feel comfortable each time I see her. The entire staff is made up of women...not sure if that's important to you or not, but I thought it was a nice touch! www.tvobgyn.com

I see dr Delisle at the clinic for women. I love their whole practice. When you're pg you go thru a rotation of all the obs and I loved all of them. Dr d is very "medically" minded to me. Meaning he can sometimes be less personable but he's always friendly but is medicine first then patient repoire. If that makes sense. I almost like it because no matter what I feel he's looking out for what is best for me and my baby and not focused on being my friend.

I also go to Clinic For Women.  I like the fact that they have 2 different offices you can choose to go to.  I see Dr. Bellmont and like him alot.  Dr. Wheeler is my favorite though.  Also, they deliver at Hsv Hospital and Crestwood which I think is nice.

That's who I go to also. I've been going to her since I moved here in 2002, but I'm not really happy with her.

I went to All Women's and had Dr. Aguayo. I really loved her during my visits and check ups and I even like her now for all my gyno appts.  But I will say i was a disappointed how she handled my labor.

My son was pretty much crowning, and I could hear the nurse arguing with Dr. Aguayo over the phone (since she wasn't there yet) because Dr. A wanted me to have a c-section.  The nurse kept telling her that she just needed to show up and I would give half a push and he would be born.  It took her another 25 minutes to get there.  I had been pushing for 30 minutes prior to that so she had plenty of time to get there on time.
