6 month professional pictures and 1yr pictures?

got my DD's picture done at 6 months and she'll be 1yr.  The pictures turned out great I have 8x10's hanging in the house.  I wasn't going to get them done again yet but wow has she changed!  Would you/did you get both 6 mo and 1yr pics?

(my reasons not to are:

would have to put away these pictures which were great, money for more pics, the time to get them done...)

We did every month from birth until Carter was 12 months, then we did every 2-3 months for awhile and then around 2 we just started taking our own photos and blowing them up of him.

what did you do with all the photos?  hang them for the month and then switch pictures?

With both my kids I did around 5 weeks, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months 1 year and then annually around their birthdays.  School does pictures twice a year (fall and spring) but we don't always order those - only if we really love them.

We only bought 1-3 poses (one of the family and then one of just him or one of just him and then one of him with DH and one of him with me or sometimes just him) so we had more than one photo displayed at a time and other times we had one up for a few months and replaced it with a more recent one, but not always.
