Playhouse - inside or outside?

We got DS a Step 2 Neat & Tidy Cottage for Christmas.  Since then it's been in his playroom.  The playroom is huge, so space is not an issue.

Would you keep it inside or outside?  I'm not really sure where he'd get more use out of it.  I am looking for more things for him to do outside.  I'm a little worried about it getting ruined and bug infested outside.

I would put it outside in the summer and then clean it off and bring it in for the winter.  We have a kangaroo climber and thats what we do with it.
