MC's post about support on here got me thinking.  I adore you ladies and this board, but I don't really talk about it to my IRL friends.  I may mention something, but I tend to refrain from saying my ONLINE friend.  LOL  Am I the only one?

Haha same here. 1. I don't mention it because I don't want them here (well most of them) and 2. I don't really mention it because I don't want them looking at me like I am some weirdo. lol.

I love you guys too, but I don't usually mention it to my IRL friends.  Today I was at Walgreens getting a card for Britt and ran into one of my good friends, she asked what I was doing and I did not say getting a card for one of my online friends...

my mom and dh know and that's about it.

my mom thinks it's great that there is a support mom's board, ya know?

dh has no specific opinions.......though he does know about Madi and is interested in her updates, i can tell he is concerned for her

There are benefits to being 2000 miles away from anyone who would actually know if it was someone I actually went to school with.

well, my dh & a couple of my friends know of the bump so it's not a big deal if I talk to them about it. My bf goes on theknot so she gets it.  For other people, I just say somebody I know..blah, blah, blah.

This is what I say. I do like the friend from high school thing but I still talk to a lot of them and they all know each other

Yeah, you're pretty much a secret. DH knows, but still snickers when I say "online friend."Although I think it has more too with that term moreso than th fact that I actually have them. I've mentioned it to my sister a few times too. To other people I just say "my friend," but that won't work with my sis. She knows all my friends. My friends are her friends, and vice versa.
