Anniversary question

Hey girls. I haven't posted lately because everything in my life seems to be infertility related. Feel free to check my blog to see what's going on if you want. I don't want to clog the board with all my IF crap! Smile

Anyways, our one year anniversary is in a little over 2 weeks. We were orginally going to go back to Negril but we thought we'd have a baby by now so we didn't book the trip.  Can someone give me a fun idea to celebrate our anniversary at the last minute?  We *should* find out if we are pregnant or not on our anniversary so it could be the best gift ever or I could be quite depressed and need a huge pick me up.  A trip is out of the question due to our waiting to the last minute (booking a room, a flight, finding a sitter for ds, etc). I'm drawing a blank. Any suggestions?

    What about recreating Negril in your backyard?  You could lay out some beach towels have a little picnic, drink some Red Stripe, and play reggae music :)

    Funny you should mention that.We are actually having a Jamaican party for our friends next month to celebrate our anniversary with reggae, rum drinks, red stripe, jerk chicken, the whole sha-bang. It's going to be so much fun.

    I don't have any anniversary suggestions for you, but I was just checking out your blog last night since we haven't heard from you in awhile.  Good luck this cycle--I hope that you get a positive OPK tomorrow, & it's just a late ovulation.  It's very exciting that there are 2 follicles!  And, continue "clogging" the board with your IF "crap"--that's what we're here for!!! Smile

    Any place you're dying to go?  Recreate Paris...with a french dinner (either you make or a restaurant) and however else you'd like to go with the French theme?  Or someplace else?  Or just an escape day away from home and child?

    I'd just consider a low key evening with your dh and focus on quality time.  Any activity you two enjoy but haven't done lately?

    A restaurant you want to try? movie or sporting event? band you'd like to see? 

    And, ((big hugs)) I look forward to the day when we get to see your BFP!!! *crossing fingers and toes*
