  • imagegiaM28:

    Breast feed

    Cloth Diaper

SAHM I'm actually switching careers so I'll be attending school...

I'm thinking about doing Baby Led Weaning, so I'm not really sure about what I'll do with the baby food thing yet, if I'll even use it.

I use natural cleaning products for everywhere except the tub/shower where I use some form of bleach :)

  • Assuming everything goes the way I plan? Ha.

    Breastfeed.

    Disposable (municipal trash is incinerated).

SAHM for a couple of years.

Store-bought baby food for the short time the kid is eating baby food, then organic with the rest of us.

    Organic cleaning solutions.

  • Hoping my plans do not fall through, I will:

BF and possibly pump to donate

    CD (I make my own)

SAHM for as long as possible, we plan to HS too in the future

I made my own baby food for DS and plan for the same for LO2 (started my own garden and all with tons of berries which DS loved hopefully this baby will too)

For cleaning I use home-made stuff, we also make our detergents and soaps.

  • DD1 was BF for 15 months, but for 12 of those months she was also FF
DD2 has been completely BF for the past year and doesn't appear to have any intention of stopping any time soon

DD1 was disposable diapered till she was 15 months.  Then CD till she PT
DD2 was disposable diapered for a week.  She's been CDed since.

    I'm a working mom

I made most of their baby food.  They probably had 10 jarred foods total.

I don't use conventional cleaning products

    Mama to Lucy (7/06), Lexi (5/09), and Max (11/11) M/C 12/17/10
  • I will breastfeed, cloth diaper, make my own baby food, and buy primarily organic cleaning solutions.  I am a working mom, but I do work from home twice a week.
  • Breastfeed..I am most committed to this.

Disposable, will give CD a try and maybe do it parttime, but we live in an apartment with coin-op laundry.

Working mom. Love to SAH, but my job is not demanding and has awesome benefits. I live close and will be able to pump so will be able to maintain a very good balance.

Plan on making baby food...probably just making purees of whatever DH and I eat.

  • Breast feed? Formula feed?   My plan was to EBF.  Unfortunately, my body had other plans.  I couldn't make enough BM and had to supplement.  Then, when Ben was 5 months or so, my supply took a major hit and I was making next to nothing.  So, I nursed him in the morning and he got formula the rest of the day.  My supply kept getting less and less, so I nursed him for the last time the day he turned 8 months and cried the entire time.

    Cloth Diaper? Disposable?

SAHM? Working mom?  I went back to work 4 days/week when he was 3 months old and he was cared for in our home by my sister 2 days/week and another woman 2 days/week.  I was voluntarily laid off when Ben was 17 months old and have been a SAHM ever since.

Making baby food? Store bought baby foodOrganic only.

    Organic cleaning solutions? regular cleaning?

  • Breastfeed

I want to try cloth diapering but S/O isn't really on board haha.

Working at first, but I want to start selling my hairbows and such on Etsy so then I'll be a WAHM

I will make my own again.

I won't be changing what I use which is a mix of both.

  • I breast feed. I am a SAH (and I am a doula). I started using cloth diapers at 5 months and still use disposable at night because I could never figure out a cloth option that kept her dry and asleep all night.

I make most of her baby food but buy the occasional organic jars for travel or if we are in a pinch and I don't have time to make some.

I use 'green' cleaning products (clorox green, nature's source, 7th Gen, etc... they aren't the best but better than the super toxic ones, I also use white vinegar a lot for cleaning).

  • BF, CD, SAHM, Store bought baby food, regular cleaning solutions.
  • Don't know how I missed this thread . . .

    Breastfeed (hopefully).

    Cloth diapering; cloth wipes, too.

I already work from home and will continue to do so.

I will make baby food. We feed our dogs home cooked meals already, so this will be different, but nothing new.

We use organic cleaning products for the most part. We have one particular product we use which is not organic, but we wont be giving it up anytime in the foreseeable future, unfortunately.

  • Breast feed? Formula feed? We EBF

Cloth Diaper? Disposable? Sposies... Our daycare will not cloth diaper so we just went sposies all around.

SAHM? Working mom? PT Working Mom

Making baby food? Store bought baby food? We made it for #1... plan to do it again for #2

Organic cleaning solutions? regular cleaning? Ask the housecleaner ;) They claim they use "green cleaning methods"

  • I intend to:

    Breastfeed

Be a Working Mom (after 9 months leave)

Make baby food (book recommendation: Real Food for Mother and Baby)

    Organic cleaning!

  • oh and cloth diaper.
  • I BF, CD, SAHM (but pt-WAHM, because I watch 2 boys in our home 2 days a week) - I made some baby food, bought some, w/ DS I plan to do baby-led weaning which I think means very little in terms of purees- which were the only baby food I bought- I never bought any of the puffs or toddler food, etc.)  We use a lot of vinegar, baking soda, and borax for cleaning- also there is this multi-purpose spray from Trader Joe's I love.  I still have some conventional cleaning stuff, but haven't bought any in a long time and I only use the "nasty" bathroom stuff in our guest bathroom because my kids don't use that tub, etc.
