We go to the park and zoo alot and he has pretty much outgrown his stroller. I see alot of babies/toddlers in the wagons at the zoo, but that seems so bulky. So, when you go places that require alot of walking, what do you transport your toddler (read, big 2.5 yr old kiddo) in?
ETA: I should add that right now he refuses to even sit in his stroller if I take him on walks, which is why I need another option. Maybe if it was bigger/funner he'd stay in longer?!
Re: Need a "stroller" type transporter for my 2.5 yr old
this.
Yeah, but then they get tired and want to be carried all the way from the elephants to the childrens zoo. And that's not happening. I did the zoo 2x with no stroller or wagon and I'm not going to do it again for a long while, even if I didn't have DS with me.
I hate pulling the wagon, but that's all I can recommend... unless you want to pop out a 2nd kiddo so you can use a joovy caboose. E does like standing on the stroller.
What about one of those "bikes" with the long handle?
Like this? We never had one so I'm not sure it would be practical or less bulky than a wagon. Sure seems a lot more fun for an almost 3 year old boy than a stoller though!
