I'm not sure if it's because they're preemies (developmental?), or because they're twins (hard to teach when very little one-on-one feeding time with either), or because they're boys (well, they'll eventually become men, nuff said - LOL!)
Anyone else? Think when we go to sippies it will get easier? The transition is scaring me!
Re: Anyone else's LOs not interested in holding bottle? My twin boys won't!
My son doesnt really have an interest in holding his own bottle....He will hold it himself if we set it up for him but only for a little while. He will hold it with his feet occasionaly too.
He doesnt seem into the idea of holding his sippy cup so he can drink out of it either. But I've only tried a couple times...i'm sure it'll take practice.
First off, I have to say that I LOVE your siggy pic. It is the cutest newborn twin pic I have ever seen!!!! It is so precious.
My guys never held their bottles either. One of my kids has struggled with reflux his whole life, and we didn't want him to have control of his bottle because we didn't want to lose the opportunity to force extra food into his belly. They never showed any interest in holding their bottles and we didn't force the issue. And they are perfectly fine developmentally so it wasn't a symptom of a problem in any way
