for the"night".
My DD ate at 6:30 and will probably eat again around 9:30 or so. This first week I've been switching her to "nighttime" mode around 8 PM or so. Swaddling, sleeping in her bassinet upstairs and I go to bed too.
Just kind of wondering though if I should stay up later (while she naps downstairs) and then put her to bed after her next feeding.

She goes down sometime between 9 and 10, although last night not until 11.
I wait until she falls asleep after her last feeding. Then she sleeps 6-7 hours.
We put our LO down between 7:30 and 8:30 and she sleeps through the night. She has been sleeping 8 - 10.5 hours since about 7 wks. She was sleeping 5+ hrs from about wk 3 onwards.
She gets a bath, then I nurse her, swaddle and lay her in the crib with her rainforest aquarium thing playing. Most nights she is still wide awake when I lay her down and will fall asleep without fussing.
From wk 1 she was ready for bed around this time so we didn't fight it. We've been trying to see if she'll go down earlier and sleep later, but it hasn't really worked. She pretty much is up at around 5:30 - 6:30 am regardless.
