around 5 weeks. I almost cried when he started smiling and cooing on purpose. It's going to be a long year of firsts.

DS was smiling in his sleep for quite a while, and cooing randomly at feedings and diaper changes. He just started directing those smiles and coos clearly to us last week (8 weeks old)
