I think she was about a week old but I think I pulled most of it off by accident when changing her onsie..She had a bunch still in her belly button that has slowly worked its way off..now theres only one tiny piece left inside..
Around 3 wks. It was a little loose and bled a little when we bathed her and then one day DH was changing her and it came off. I was relieved! but it took another couple of weeks to heal up to a point where it looks nice.
About 10 days. It was mostly coming off on it's own but I think her pajamas pulled it off. She had a scab and when the doctor cleaned it at her 2 week appointment she took the scab off as well.
It was also REALLY hot last week and we don't have AC so I had him in just his diaper and one of those button across the chest shirts (not a onesie). I also had him outside in the mornings before it got too hot like that so I think the warm weather and lots of air dried it out.
Just last night. I went to unswaddle her to change her diaper and there was the stump lying in her swaddle blanket. It took DD#1's almost a whole month to fall off!
ETA: We didn't use alcohol this time, but with dd#1 we did and it hung on for longer.
LO is 8 weeks tomorrow and it still hasn't fallen off. The pedi says it is just fine and that it will fall off when it is ready. It is loose so I thing that should be soon.
Re: When did your LO's umbillicial cord fall off?
18 days. I was so excited to be able to give him a bath, he loves it!
One week. I was using alcohol twice a day.

It fell off at 6 days, but it was a teeny tiny wimpy cord according to the dr. It took probably a week and a half to heal completely.
