I dont have a problem with colic but DD always seems to fall asleep before burping then wakes up fussy to be burped a bit later.. so I wanted to eliminate as much air as possible..
LOVE THEM! DD falls asleep on them too, but still needs to be burped tho

Oh, how I love those! Clean up is SOOO easy. However, DD can't get a good latch on that nipple so now we are using Dr. Brown's (and cleaning a million parts) ::sigh::
They did not work for us. DS had huge projectile spitups every time he ate from them, and didn't like how hard it was to measure amounts with them, and that you have to keep buying the inserts.
Tommee Tippee and Dr Browns have worked great for us.
Love love love them! We used the Vent Aire system with my first son and loved them, so we bought a ton this time around. He would projectile almost every single time. We have since switched to the Drop Ins and LOVE THEM! No more projectile at all!
I love them mostly because of the convenience. DS rarely ever has gas when we use these. He still has spit up issues because of reflux but I find that if we take the time to burp him after every ounce or so and make sure he eats slowly then it isn't an issue.
Re: Playtex drop in bottle system? Like it or hate it?

Hate 'em. I love Dr. Brown's though. They're excellent at preventing gas.
I figured that I just wanted to cut out as much air/gas as I could so it wont build up so much if she wont wake to be burped
Thanks! I'll prob pick some up today..
I'll look into those also.. Never thought bottles would be such a hassle.
