Another meeting about getting my old job back

I have posted about this before, how I want to be back in the Lab but there was no positions available but they need the help.

The manager is having yet another meeting with the CEO today to ask him again for permission to hire me back.

Fingers are crossed.

  • Lab as in Lab tech, or something else? I've always thought it would be fun to be a lab tech, but unfortunately I can't make the image through a double barrel microscope settle into one image. My eyes are funky.

Phlebotomist. I miss it so much!  A lot of people are grossed out about giving needles but I really liked interacting with the patients and doing the job.

My cousin does this and loves it. I'm not sure could handle it. I donate blood every 2 months, but I can't look when they put the needle in. I'm guessing patients wouldn't like it if I closed my eyes while I stuck them :P

    Probably not. LOL

I would get patients who would say 'I am going to close my eyes!' I would tell them that was fine and say 'we're ok as long as I keep my eyes open!' I find that making them laugh helps relax them a bit
