Boppy ?

Hi Ladies,

I'm trying to decide whether I should get a boppy or not. They look nice, but is it going to be just one more thing to take up room?

We use it every day. Nursing, tummy time, sitting on the couch. DS loves it.

I loved it for the first week home. It really helped me to position him. Now I barely use it.

We use it for everything! Naps, breastfeeding, a place to just sit him, people to hold him who are uncomfortable holding him. Get one!!!

This! It is very, very multi-functional. I even use it behind my back when I sit in my computer chair.

I have two boppys and a My Breast Friend.  If you're nursing the My Breast Friend is fantastic (although useless for tummy time).  I use all three.  I got one of the Boppys and the MBF at consignment stores (you can wash the covers easily and they hold up well)

it's worth it-- get one! i had intended on BF'ing so i bought one, but we had latch & supply issues, so we FF him now and we still use it every time.  we also use it for tummy time and when he was much smaller he'd take naps next to me on the couch in it.

i really wanted to vote for choice D, get something else.  in that case it would be my Brest friend.  i have both, i registered for mbf and received a boppy as a gift.  the boppy is not as good.  i only use it if i am in a different room and i am too lazy to go and get my mbf.

I use my boppy all the time. I have 2, actually - one upstairs and one downstairs.

i loooove my boppy! when i'm not nursing i sit on it as i got a 3rd degree tear... helps a lot!

If you are looking for something more compact...Balboa Baby makes a nursing pillow that is smaller and more firm to support baby longer.

It has so many uses.  The grandparents seen to really like it, as it makes for holding for long periods of time much easier for them.

I love our bobby and DH does too. The only thing that was a bummer about it was that it rubbed against my c-section incision site. For the first couple of weeks that was really irritating, but it's a lot better now.

DD was 9.12 at birth. The boppy has been a lifesaver, I don't think my arms could take it if I can had to hold her without it during feedings! We use it every day, several times a day. A must have.

I liked my breast friend better.  I do use my boppy though.  I also can lay him in the boppy on the couch next to me.  so it is a toss up.  boppy has additional uses, but for positioning, i preferred MBF.  1ht

Get one!! It is so helpful for feeding and gets used every day!!
