Can we discuss my crotch for a minute? (not joking! lol)

Yesterday (long story short) I carried a heavy bag of leaves from the front yard to the garage. DH was inside and I was doing my best to rush him to get him out of the house and I was a dumbass and carried the leaves so we could just go already.(He's sooooooooo slow it makes me mental).

Fast forward an hour- my right vag lip HURTS. It's a bit swollen and it hurts when I walk, sit, wipe.. anything. There isn't an ingrown hair or other bump, it's not red. There is a long kind of squishy thing running through the bottom area of the lip. 

PLEASE tell me this is not the beginnings of a blue twinkie (a.k.a. varicose vein in the labia). I did a quick look on Dr. Google and that's all I could come up with. Has anyone had this happen???  Maybe b/c it's not from baby pressure it might go away on its own???? I really hope this painful visitor isn't here to stay.

I don't know what a blue Twinkie is but it sounds like a vericose vein to me.

Ok just saw that you defined blue Twinkie and while it sucks, it looks like you may be stuck with one for a while.

Yeah, that's what I read. That's just a lonnnnggg time from now. I am hoping that since I lifted something heavy that it will go away sooner than that. It's not like it was from the baby or something. How's that for wishful thinking?

BTW- who puts pressure from lifting something on their vag lip. I need to seriously work on my technique. ha.

B/c it was heavy... I was wondering if maybe that might have caused it since it happened right after.

Ah ok, I didn't realize that's where vericose veins might come from.  Wishful thinking, but I'm sure it'll go away!!

You can get them in the vag from straining for a #2 also, so be careful! I have learned a lot about varicose veins this morning. lol

You should have seen me yesterday. We're at my parents' house at the pool... I have DH in the bathroom with me with my leg up on the sink seeing if he can see anything. It hurt that bad- I was willing to have an impromptu vag inspection. It's a bit better this morning but I think it's because I'm not hot.

A friend of mine got a varicose vein there (not sure if anything caused it).  Her Dr said its nothing to worry about but like any other varicose vein it may or may not go back to normal

LOL!  I've heard of worse.  My friend had her DH check out her butt once just to make sure bleeding was coming from there instead of her vag.  A good reason to look of course, but her DH was staring at her butt hole.

Don't laugh - the first time I ever had a hemorrhoid, DH checked to make sure i wasn't dying because I felt like I was.

And I'll be honest  - at the worst of my IVF constipation, he also gave me 2 enemas.

We're a little too close.
