I should be happy but...

I'm sad!  I usually nurse DS before bedtime and he falls asleep while I rock him and then I put him in his crib.  All day today for some reason, he would not go to sleep.

Finally tonight, an hour+ past his normal bedtime, I nursed him and just as he was starting to doze off, he started "talking" etc, so I kissed him goodnight and put him in his crib awake.  He cried for about 30 seconds, then played and is now asleep.

 I know I should be happy that he can put himself to sleep, but I love that part of the day  He is such a busy baby, and with a toddler too, it's like our 30 minutes to snuggle alone.

My baby is growing up and I'm not digging it

I KWYM. DS is still a snuggler, but DD stopped snuggling really early on. I was so sad when we got rid of the bedtime bottle b/c it was my only snuggle time!
