Diaper Rash--Help!!

I know that my little boy has a diaper rash, which I am putting destin on and is getting better. But I just noticed that the tip of his penis is red (like where the pee comes out) and looks tender. Should I add extra destin on that? Is that part of the diaper rash? ahh..I feel bad for him!

    I don't know about the penis redness... but make sure your desitin is 40% zinc oxide to heal the rash that's already there. We had one that was only 13% and that's what heals--so you need the full amount.

    DD had a diaper rash and I posted here for advice. One great girl suggested using cotton squares with water instead of wipes, making sure her bottom is completely dry before putting a diaper back on and having naked time a couple times a day. It's a lot of extra work but her diaper rash healed right up! I also love butt paste as Desitin didn't work for us. I think each brand is different though and some work for some babies and some don't. My SIL swears by Aquaphor. Good luck!

    I don't know about putting it on his penis. But Desitin will definnitely clear up the diaper rash.
