After a month or more of bouncing on his knees, Charlie is a mobile unit. It takes him forever to coordinate the legs and the arms, but he's getting it! Babyproofing is now underway.

Yeah, way to go! I can't wait to see how long it takes Ellie to get it all figured out. She gets on her knees and in a great position and then pushing into downward dog and topples over - she's giggles and looks a bit confused and then rolls to whatever it was she wanted
"Downward dog!" We were just using that term this afternoon. I'd bet Miss Ellie is close, too. He's not fully into crawl mode quite yet. More of an inchworming thing, really. But we decided that since hands/arms and knees were all in motion, that is essentially a crawl. He just needs to perfect it a little bit!

Yay! It's so much fun when they start to crawl, make sure you videotape it!

Don't feel badly... Aaron didn't crawl until the week before he turned 9 months. Every baby works on his/her own timeframe.
