Any EBFs having trouble keeping weight on?

I feel like I'm eating plenty- including protein, etc. and I'm not even back to exercising again. I am down 4 lbs from my prepregnancy weight which is really thin for me. Anyone have any tips or specific foods to try? I don't want to just load up on empty calories.

  • I'm not at that point yet, but I can see it happening with my rate of weight loss. Perhaps a oothie with protein powder midday or an ensure type drink?

  • You can try eating good fats like Avocados and nuts as well as adding flax seed to your food.  Try adding an additional snack into your day like banana with peanut butter on it.  You can add a glass of 100% juice to you diet instead of a piece of fruit or in addition.  You get all the vitamins of fruit but more calories.  Throw in a protein shake as a snack and increase your grain serving by one.  Put granola in your yogurt and eat full fat milk products instead of the skim ones.  

    I know being on the other side of the weight issue can be just as frustrating as trying to lose the baby weight.
