How many ounces?

Ok so I am breastfeeding but we had some latching on issues and I've been pumping a lot and giving LO a bottle. She is 3 1/2 weeks old and ive been giving her around 3-4 ounces but sometimes she will down the bottle and then still be sucking and rooting around for more. Am I not giving her enough? In the day she doesn't go more than 3 hrs without eating so I don't know if I should be giving her 4-5 ounces instead. Any advice on this?

If she's rooting for more she coudl be hungry, my lil angel eats more than others and its okay. Every baby is different. Try giving her 1 more ounce and if she rejects it then can give her pacifier to soothe her for a lil while and then remove. If she eats then she is hungry. My baby also had issues latching on. Have u tried a nipple shield? It was a life saver for me!!!. Get the 24mm one.
