Poop ?

DS didn't poop for several days then yesterday he had a blowout. It was green and mucus/gooey like. He is BF. He has been on meds to help relax his tummy and has AR too. His poops since yesterday has still been green and mucus like. Any idea what this could be?

    Green could indicate a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance?  Do you have oversupply problems?  Mucousy could be an allergy / sensitivity to something? (if you couldn't tell by my overuse of ?, I really have no idea).

    His meds could also be causing the change as well.  I'd ask your pedi.

    This happened to my LO today also. She hasn't pooed in 2 days...but this afternoon right after her feeding I saw that she was straining a bit so I started to rub her tummy and then I did the bicycle exercises. Sure enough she had a blow out. I was so darn excited she finally pooed. Then I opened her diaper and I almost gagged LOL. It was more watery than normal and a TON of it. She's formula fed with Similac Advance and no problems up until now. At least I know she's not constipated...and I don't think it was the runs either?
