Graco Pack & Play silhouette question....

The cord that plugs into the vibration box then to your control box on the side of the pack and play to short??  When I plug mine in the cord doesn't reach the control box.  I have made sure that everything is hooked up correctly.  If I move the control box towards the back of the PNP the nightlight lights up the base of the umbrealla.  Confused? I am.
