C-sec Mamas- numbness post partum?

Hi there, 

I had a c-section almost 1 week ago. I still have some numbness/light tingling underneath my belly button and in my pubic area (below abdomen, above vagina)

Is this normal or should I call Dr?

My OB said it was normal and would slowly resolve as the nerves regenerated.  She did warn me that all the feeling, in some cases, doesn't come back.  I'm 6 weeks PP now, and though it still isn't back to normal, it is MUCH better.

I have that too, right above the incision site? This is normal and I've been told that it does take time, but the numbness will subside as the incision heals and shrinks. It probably wont go away completely, but it does get better.

It's normal, and it sucks. And, it can last for weeks to MONTHS. Months!

Yep, i'm 9.5 weeks pp and still have it.  It's gotten slightly better, but still numb.

i have numbness in between my belly button and the incision.  about a two inch band.  doesn't really bother me, it just feels really weird.  I am sorta getting feeling back and it feels like a mild bruise.  Oh well

Normal.  I was still slightly numb for MONTHS (probably 6-8 months) post c-section.

I hate the numbness.  Can't wait for it to go away, ugh!

almost 3 months PP and still very numb. i've heard that it might not go away - one of my nurses said she's still numb years later. i'll take numbness over pain any day!
