I have my LO using Playtex VentAire bottles with a slow nipple. She eats about 3oz every 3-4 hours and it usually take about 1/2 hour to feed, burp, and go back to bed. Well, the last two days have been torture trying to get her to finish even 2 oz...and it's taking FOREVER! I thought at first it may be a growth spurt (she's 18 days old) because of her fussiness, but I just tried using my NUK bottle, which is also a slow flow, but it's an orthodontic nip. And guess what...she finished all 3oz like a champ. So now I'm really confused? Does she hate the VentAire bottles, is it a growth spurt..or is she just being difficult?

It could be her preferences chaged.  If she'll take the NUK bottle, I'd go with that.

I agree - I would switch to the Nuk bottles if that is what she seems to like.
