6 weeks pp appt - how long did it hurt?

I had my 6 weeks pp appt yesterday and yowza did it hurt! How long were you sore after yours? And did it hurt to pee? I almost jumped out of my skin from the sting when I went to the bathroom yesterday afternoon.

Also, how long was it until you used a tampon or had sex?

I didn't have any pain during or after the exam.

It didn't hurt for me.

We had sex around 5 weeks pp (the week prior to my appt.) I started using tampons when I got my first period at 4 months pp.

There's a huge range of normal, though. I would wait on sex or tampons if you're still experiencing discomfort or are bleeding.

I didn't hurt at all at my 6 week pp appointment before, during, or after.  I haven't had my first PPAF yet, but plan on using tampons when i do get it (I'm EBF so it could be awhile).  We had sex for the first time at 4 weeks...yup, we couldn't wait for the 6 week visit.  My dr said it's more when you're ready when you don't have a c-section.  I had a vaginal birth with 2nd degree episiotomy.
