Grocery Store= FAIL!

Last night I went grocery shopping alone with DD.  She is always such a great baby, never fussy but last night all hell broke lose! As soon as I put her in the cart she started screaming.  I  had to stop every aisle to  pick her up and calm her down.  She was fed, clean, burped, and warm.  She just hated the store. I should have just left and went back another day but at the time I was just trying to get her to calm down.  It sounds stupid but I didn't even think til after we were done "why didn't I just go home?"  I felt like a bad mom last night and DD was so worn out when we got home she just wanted to cuddle the whole time.  Next time she is staying home or I am taking my Moby!

my LO does the exact same thing when we go to wal-mart. she just hates that store!!

FWIW - It doesn't get any easier the older they get. And, people are a lot more understanding of a crying NB versus a toddler

Yep. God forbid your toddler act like a toddler in a store. I wear the baby also keeps prying eyes/ hands away from her as well as keeping her calm.

I'm the one who has the temper tantrum in Walmart. That store makes me loco!

Sounds just like my trip the other day only ds waited until I was halfway done and I didn't want to just walk away from my cart so I held him in every isle.  We were there and extra 45 min  I would guess, next time I am ditching the cart for sure.
