So irritated right now!!!

So today was the longest day ever with LO. She was fussy and refused to sleep for longer than an hour or so. This means that I didn't get any kind of nap at all today and I haven't gotten much sleep in the past week as it is. Well DH usually gets home around 4:30pm to give me some kind of relief, but he got stuck in traffic and didn't get home til around 6:30pm. He was super tired from work and really wasn't much help when he got home. I finally got DD to sleep around 8:30pm and I finally fall asleep around 9:30pm. At 10:15pm my friend calls me and wakes me up out of dead sleep!! The worse thing is that she wasn't even calling about anything important! Just calling to say hey. What the hell? Who calls a new mother of a 4 week old at 10:15pm just to say "hey"? Now I'm wide awake. So much for getting some kind of sleep today.

Thanks for letting me vent.

    Wow that is so inconsiderate!  Growing up we were never allowed to make or take calls after 9 but even that seems late to me now.  GL getting some sleep tonight.

    I put my phone on vibrate now bc of that! Happened first week home with baby.

    That's the sad part. It was on vibrate, but it was on my night stand next to a glass and vibrated so hard that it hit the glass and made a loud noise. 

    Then she had the audacity to send me a text saying she was sorry that she woke me up! haha. Normally this wouldn't bother me so much, but my sleep is very precious to me these days.
