Most of my single friends annoy me.  They're all about hooking up, which isn't what bothers me.  It's when someone from one circle hooks up with someone from another circle and then they keep asking me what's going with the other person.  Or when someone comes to visit us and is concerned about if we know any single ladies. 

If you come to visit me, visit me.  Don't use it as an excuse to get some @ss from someone you'll never have to see, but I will.
